Travel Toys: Part 3

The journey concludes, for now...

A U S T R A L I A

We went to the Land Down Under last year, or as I like to call it, "the Land of Moose".  That's right kids, this where the Trash Pack comes from!

How Ya Goin'?

I had hoped to get at least some basic posting done on the blog while I was in Australia for the last 6 weeks, but obviously that didn't happen.  Wi-fi wasn't easy to come across there (the free stuff was basically useless, and the wi-fi you had to pay for got more expensive as we went).  The AMAMOTM post for June is going to have to wait for July, and The Plastic Eyeball's 1 year anniversary went by without any mention.  I'll still give that a special post to give it the acknowledgement it deserves.  On top of that, I've got lots of new stuff to show off now!  Australia is the homeland of Moose, the makers of the Trash Pack, so I picked up a lot of them there, but I have some other odds and ends too.  It'll take a while to go through all the pics and get everything cropped and ready to go, but until then, here's some random Australian pics to get you in the mood.  Oh, and we spent a week in New Zealand as well, so there's some pretty epic stuff to show off from there as well (unless you don't like the Lord of the Rings/Hobbit movies, in which case I don't want to know you anyway).

Scarier Little Uglier Guys

One thing I love about travelling is finding all the stuff you can't find at home.  The very first day I was in Florida we stopped by a Target and I found the Coffin pack for S.L.U.G. Zombies Series 2.  Now I've completed the set!

Finishing off Series 2

It kinda bugs me, but you can only get certain Zombies in the Coffin multipacks and other ones only in the 3-packs.  Which means unless you plan things carefully you'll probably end up with doubles.  Luckily my niece and nephew like zombies too, so I unloaded the extras on them.

Scary Little Ugly Guys

Zombies sure seem to be in this year, which is fine with me 'cause I'm into 'em!  I've been following The Walking Dead in both book and TV form since their respective beginnings, but that doesn't mean I'm against some humor with my zombies as well.  I also love toy lines like M.U.S.C.L.E. and Monster In My Pocket, so it was only natural that Jakks Pacific's S.L.U.G. Zombies would appeal to me right from the get-go.  In fact, ever since I first saw their pictures revealed way back when, I've been chomping at the brain to get my hands on them.
